Each year we feature a major juried competition open to artists worldwide.

Judge: Marjorie Weinstein, Coordinator of Adult Public Programs, Whitney Museum of American Art
Awards: A six to eight person exhibition March 1 - 31, 2008.
Media: Oils, Acrylics, Mixed Media, Pastel, Watercolor, Drawings, Graphics, Photography and Sculpture. Not open to Crafts.
Eligibility: Open to all residents of the United States.
Entry deadline (extended!): November 5, November 15, 2007
Handling fee: $35 check to the b.j. spoke gallery
Liability: All slides and entries will be handled with utmost care; however, b.j. spoke gallery, inc. will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred.
Instructions: Up to six images (one for each work of art) are to be submitted on CD in jpg format, readable on a PC computer. The file size should be between 500 KB and 1.5 MB. Label each file as follows: lastnamefirstname - 1; lastnamefirstname - 2 and so on, up to lastnamefirstname - 6. Include a one page printout with your name and address, a thumbnail of each image, title, medium, and dimensions. Include a stamped, self addressed envelope (SASE) or (if you would like your disk to be returned) a stamped, self addressed CD mailer.
Check your disk before sending. Faulty disks cannot be reviewed.
