Paperworks 2013
Judge: Mia Curran, Curatorial Assistant, Whitney Museum of American Art.
Award: Exhibition of selected works, October 2013 at the b.j.spoke gallery.
Eligibility: United States artists who use paper as their primary medium, as a substrate, or as the subject of a video.
Media: Works made of, on or about paper: cut paper, folded paper, woven paper, glued paper, drawings, paintings, pastels, prints, photographs, paper sculpture, 3D, bound books, collage, mixed media, video.
Liability: All material will be handled with the utmost care. However, b.j. spoke gallery will not be responsible for loss or damage.
Instructions: Installation pieces must be installed and removed by the artist. All work must be framed and wired and/or display-ready. Use plexiglass only – no glass. Artists are responsible for shipping their own work to and from the exhibit.
Application: Entries to Paperworks will be submitted online, through the CaFE website.
