Paperworks 2012 Juried Competition
Judge: Our juror will be Laura Phipps, Assistant Curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art
Award: Exhibition of selected works, August 2012 at the b.j.spoke gallery.
Eligibility: We welcome submissions from all United States artists who use paper as their primary medium. Drawings, graphics, paper sculpture, 3D, bound books, collage and mixed media are all appropriate.
Media: No paintings or photographs.

Fee: $35.00 – Checks made payable to b.j. spoke gallery.
Liability: All material will be handled with the utmost care. However, b.j.spoke gallery will not be responsible for loss or damage.
Instructions: Submit on a CD one jpeg image of each flat work, or two images of each 3D work. Each image should be between 500K and 1M. They will be viewed on a PC computer. Please do not use a DVD. Label each file as follows: lastnamefirstname-1, lastnamefirstname- 2, lastnamefirstname-3 (no spaces).
CDs will not be returned. Retain your original files. Check your disk before sending. Faulty disks cannot be reviewed.
Installation pieces must be installed and removed by the artist. All work must be framed and wired and/or display-ready.
Include a 1-page printout with a thumbnail of each image with title, medium or description, and dimensions of the work. Be sure your name, address, phone, and email are on this page.
